How did you start kiteboarding?: It started with surfing, and windsurfing. Back then, I admired the colorful parashoots in the sky:) I started a kitesurfing course in Hel, but really learnt how to ride in RedSeaZone. Big thanks to all of my instructors:)
What do you like the most about kiting?: It's a great sport, it never gets me bored! It's so much fun to go out with my friends and ride together:) I also like the feeling when I learn a new thing - kiting is very challenging!
Competitions: 2nd place in freestyle jam women, KiteJamboree'09
Other sports: I played a lot of voleyball and basketball when I was younger. I did a bit of surfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, tennis, and I love ping-pong:))
Kite adventure: I had a few, but there is one that I really don't like:P I was kiting outside of the reef, quite far away from the shore. I jumped, my foot came out of a footstrap, and I sprained my knee in the air! I don't remember the landing, but I had to bodydrag upwind to get the board (hehe.... my brand new board - first time in the water), then bodydrag downwind to get back to the inside of the reef. And all that with twisted knee, I hope it will never happen again:)
RedSeaZone: This is where I grew as a kitesurfer and instructor. I started to work for RSZ in September 2007, and during the first year I was running RedSeaZone office. I started to teach in September 2008, and now I also take care of RSZ's PR & marketing.
This place is like my second home, I met great people, had great kite sessions, love it.
Beyond kite: I just finished university, so I feel like the world now is open for me to do anything and go anywhere! I definitely want to travel more.
Daga is right now in Thailand, but she comes back in spring time :)
