You can easily learn the basic techniques within a few days. IKO Center 704 RedSeaZone offers courses for beginners, as well as for advanced and intermediate riders. The professional kite instructors will guide you in small groups or in individual lessons to take your first steps in the water. From the first handling of the kite, bodydragging and your first try to stand upright on the board to finally the great experience of kiteboarding the first distance on your own - these courses are fun for every beginner. Advanced surfers can practice new jumps and develop their technical skills. RedSeaZone also offers specialty courses with professionals, where everything is about jump theory and practice. RedSeaZone offers maximum safety for students - helmet and swimjackets are obligatory. This equipment will be provided by RedSeaZone and is included in the fee for the course. Over 500m of broad shallow water zone offers all kiteboarders, whether Newbie or Pro, enough space to learn or to kite.
There is equipment available to rent and try. There are kites in different sizes and from different brands available for all wind strengths, as well as boards and other stuff. To rent out equipment you need to be at least kiteboarder IKO level 2. If you don't have a license, one of the instructors will check your kiting skills before you go out on your own. The brands of kites we rent are: Blade, Best, North, Ozone, Naish, Nobile and others. The boards: Choc, Nobile, Best and others.
RedSeaZone is also CRAZY FLY, NOBILE and BEST TEST CENTER. We have all the sizes of kites and boards. Come to our center and test the equipment for FREE!
Life on a kite safari is very hard. First you have to make a choice in the evening if you want to have early wake up or not.
If you choose early wake up the next day start at 5.45 with wake up and a light breakfast. At 6.00 you will be on the water kiting in the sunrise. At 8.30 it is time to wake up the rest of the guys to enjoy a huge breakfast altogether.
After that it is kiting, chilling, eating, kiting, eating, chilling, kiting and more kiting…. And if you throw in a beach party or two and some night kiting you understand that life is quit well after all.

These events are organized several times a year. The most important one is Kite Jamboree which takes place in May every year. KITE JAMBOREE is a gathering of kitesurfers, their friends and families, taking part in international competitions, equipment tests, procamps with champions of kiteurfing.
